Scooter's Coffee Best Drinks: A Guide to Popular Favorites

How we chose these drinks

The Scooter's menu has well over a hundred drinks once you count every iced, hot and blended version. To keep this guide useful, we started from the current official menu and picked drinks that each represent a different style: an espresso latte, a cold brew, an energy drink, a fruit smoothie and so on. Where the same drink comes hot, iced and blended, we included more than one version only when the difference really matters (as with the Caramelicious).

Three things we did not do: we didn't rank drinks by sales (Scooter's doesn't publish them), we didn't invent tasting notes (the flavor families below come from the ingredients Scooter's names in each official description), and we didn't treat delivery-app prices as national prices.

Calories are Scooter's official figures for a medium with 2% milk and regular flavor where there's a choice. Prices are what specific stores listed on DoorDash or Uber Eats; a "+" means a starting price. Your store may differ.

If you like caramel: start with the 'Licious Lineup

Scooter's calls the Caramelicious its signature drink, and it's the obvious place to start. The Caramelicious is espresso with Caramelicious sauce and steamed milk, finished with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. The Iced Caramelicious is the same idea over ice, and the Caramelicious Blender blends espresso and the sauce with an ice-cream base.

Which version you pick changes more than the temperature. Because the blender uses an ice-cream base and iced cups are bigger than hot cups at the same size name, the three versions land at quite different calorie counts; the table above shows the medium of each. The rest of the ’Licious Lineup follows the same hot/iced/blended pattern, so if you like the Caramelicious, the Honeycomb Latte (honey syrup with white mocha) is the closest step sideways.

If you like chocolate or fruit flavors

For chocolate, the White Mocha is the simplest choice on the hot menu. If you'd rather have fruit with your espresso, the Iced Strawberry Shortcake Latte pairs strawberry with white mocha over ice. Both are dessert-style drinks; check the sugar column on their pages before ordering a large.

If you want fruit without coffee, the Strawberry Smoothie is Scooter's classic, and the Lemonade is the lightest fruit option in this list. The smoothies category and lemonades category have the other flavors.

If you want the coffee to come first

Not every Scooter's order needs sauce. The Iced Americano is espresso and water over ice, and Cold Brew is steeped for 24 hours according to Scooter's description; both come in at around 10 calories in a medium, per the official figures. An Iced Latte adds milk without flavoring.

If plain cold brew feels too austere, the Vanilla Crème Cold Brew adds vanilla and cold foam. It's a middle ground between a black cold brew and a full latte.

If you want energy without coffee

If you prefer tea

The Chai Tea Latte is the spiced option. Scooter's description names green tea, cinnamon, clove and orange blossom. The Iced Matcha is the lighter of the two in calories at a medium. If you want a treat

Shakes are the richest drinks on the menu. The OREO Shake blends white mocha, an ice-cream base and OREO cookies. Its official calorie count at a medium is far above anything else in this guide, so it's worth knowing before you order. Three tips before you order

• Size changes the cup more than you'd think. Iced and blended cups run 16 to 32 oz while hot cups run 12 to 24 oz, so an iced medium is as big as a hot large. See drink sizes.
